A tour de force of latte art for advanced baristas. This course will focus primarily on the texturing and pouring of a number of intermediate to advanced patterns. Content as follows:
A brief introduction for the uninitiated into Paddy and Scott's; our story and our coffees, complete with a mini-tasting.
A quick look at pouring the perfect espresso: As this course is designed for those with an advanced knowledge of coffee already this really will be a whistle-stop tour of espresso technique and the importance of great espresso for latte art.
Next comes a brief look at milk texturing technique including any trouble-shooting to get milk-texture beautifully silky as a great foundation for latte art.
And finally: The perfect pour. Master the wrist action needed to pour a perfect heart, rosetta, swan and tulip. High fliers will be given some freestyle time to practise and develop their individual skills - get creative, get inspired, fuel your ambition!
