Coffee Bar Opened At The Ceme Campus In Essex

I am constantly being asked when will Paddy & Scott's open up our own coffee bar, will it be local, on the High St or even a mobile offering? I always reply that our mission is to make great coffee, we don't want to compete with our customers who helped us get where we are and already have wonderful cafe's.
We have however, spied a great opportunity to create in-house Paddy & Scott's Espresso Bars in the work place, University campuses etc. This part of the market seems to be dominated with the likes of Starbucks and Costa and tends to be a long way away from the High St, so we're on a mission!
Our first installation was at the CEME campus in Essex, an amazing £40m regeneration project to showcase British engineering talent followed by the head office of the telecoms giant O2 and as I type I'm helping design the Paddy & Scott's branding for the Open University in Milton Keynes.

Now I must admit, I don't mind Costa Coffee and in all fairness you can't knock the success of Starbucks but when I asked the buyers direct why they changed to Paddy & Scott's they have all said it due to our passion, the fun nature of our company and the fact that both Paddy and I and indeed the whole team are personally prepared to roll up our sleeves and work with them to get the offering right.
As I finish this Blogg entry I have learnt that the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs has sadly passed away today, our thoughts are with his family I'm also proud to say his pioneering inspiration lives on in our work ethic here at Paddy & Scott's, in my opinion there are only 3 apples worth talking about. Eve's, Newton and Mr Jobs company and to that I raise my Latte.
